My love for this craft runs deep. I’ve spent years traveling across the U.S., investing in advanced education and training with some of the industry’s most respected artists — all driven by a genuine passion for helping people feel confident and seen through hair. As co-owner of Crown & Canvas, we have built a space rooted in creativity, connection, and intention. For over 15 years, my craft has been a refined exploration of structure, contrast, and expression—studying the architecture of the face, the movement of hair, and the power of color to transform. Every client brings a unique energy, and it’s my privilege to interpret that through a tailored, elevated aesthetic. My work is rooted in both precision and creativity, blending advanced barbering and women’s cutting techniques with balayage, dimensional color, corrective work, and detailed highlighting. I also specialize in makeup artistry, facial waxing, and beard grooming—each service approached with the same intention: to create harmony between who you are and how you want to be seen.

With over 18 years of experience behind the chair, I specialize in delivering highly personalized service, care, and artistry tailored to each client. Early in my career, I had the privilege of mentoring under a respected hairdresser immediately after cosmetology school — an experience that grounded me in classic techniques and sparked a lifelong passion for evolving my craft. Today, I blend that strong foundation with modern artistry to create transformative color, dimensional blonding, and expertly placed foils. I'm especially known for my precision cutting and nuanced approach to grey blending, helping clients embrace change with confidence. Whether it’s a milestone event, graduation, or a night out, I also love styling for special occasions — because every moment deserves to feel a little more beautiful.

Hi, I’m Shailee — a stylist here at Crown and Canvas in Camp Verde, AZ. I’m a proud Verde Valley native, a mama, and a lover of all things pink! With 2 years of experience in the industry, I’m continuing to grow my skill set and absolutely loving the journey — especially when it comes to blonding and haircuts. Working at Crown and Canvas allows me to be part of a team that values comfort, confidence, and a little everyday luxury. I’m all about creating a relaxed, fun environment where women can feel like their most beautiful selves — inside and out.
